The Club Stand Bar

Powerstown Park offers a variety of options that will delight your guests and satisfy your budget. We can help make your 'Day at the Races' a successful and memorable occasion. 

The location is convenient, with accessible ample parking. The setting is picturesque and the staff are professional, experienced and helpful. The course being a neat, oval course slopes up from the stands, making for good viewing. The upstairs bar of the spacious Club Stand affords a splendid view of the track.

Catering and Hospitality

The catering at Clonmel racecourse is provided by An Excellent Choice Catering Company. There are three bars. The T.A Morris Bar which is situated under the main grand stand, the glass fronted Club Stand Bar which has great viewing facilities and the Supporters Club Bar which has it's own balcony overlooking the winning post.

Hot dinners, Sandwiches, Pastries etc are provided in the Restaurant under the Club Stand. The Snack Bar which is adjacent to the parade ring has a lovely selection of Fast Food, Soup, Sandwiches & Pastries.

Our caterers can also put together a special package for your group.

This can be a four-course-meal or a hot dish (eg Beef Stroganoff, Chicken Korma) or simply some tasty finger food.

Depending on the size and requirements of your group we can reserve some tables in the Club Stand Bar or we can give you a private room in the lower grand stand which seats 150 approx.

Our newly refurbished Sponsors Room with balcony viewing (seats 30 approx) may also be available on some race days.

Viewing Facilities

The Club Stand has a capacity for 1,000 people whilst the Grand Stand caters for a capacity of 3,500 people.
